I was at a friend’s house and noticed two photographs of the Carrick Roads taken from the Pandora Inn.
They were taken on his way to work, oyster dredging in the very early morning and the view was stunning – not a ripple. This was many years ago with a basic camera, so he took two snaps covering the full panorama. As soon as I saw them, I thought ‘it’d be nice to join them up and create the full scene.
So, with his permission, I did . . . and this is the result . . . . my best selling print ever.
